About the role

  • Lead transaction analytics engagements across buy-side and sell-side M&A, carve-outs, and restructuring projects
  • Design and oversee analytics-driven due diligence approaches, including revenue, cost, working capital, cash flow, and margin analysis
  • Manage and review complex datasets, data models, and visualizations to ensure accuracy, quality, and relevance
  • Translate analytical outputs into clear, commercial insights and actionable recommendations for clients
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships
  • Collaborate with EY service lines including financial due diligence, valuation, tax, technology, and strategy
  • Lead, coach, and develop Senior Associates and Associates, providing regular feedback and performance support
  • Manage project economics, including scope, timelines, resourcing, and budgets
  • Identify opportunities to enhance analytics methodologies, automation, and tools
  • Support business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations
  • Ensure compliance with EY quality, risk management, and independence standards

Requirements

  • 6–9 years of experience in transaction services, analytics, consulting, or financial analysis
  • Proven experience leading transaction analytics or due diligence engagements
  • Strong understanding of M&A transactions, financial statements, and value drivers
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and analytics / BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Tableau)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience managing teams and delivering multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Prior experience in Big 4 or professional services environments (Preferred)
  • Experience with advanced analytics, automation, or data engineering concepts (Preferred)
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite (Preferred)
  • Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA, or equivalent (Preferred)
