About the role
- Use working experience to amend design (commensurate to functional specifications) and demonstrate hands-on development of product features, with utmost efficiency and optimization of source code
- Whenever needed, challenge status quo for tech stacks, API choices to include most efficient industry practices, balancing the time to market for the product at hand
- Coach and mentor team members technically as needed (including performing code reviews)
- Demonstrate the right-ways of development in all facets of software development (Front end, Back end, APIs , Data layers, 3rd party integrations and AI models) (Lead with Walk the Talk mindset)
- Map functional specifications to product features to ensure coverage and accuracy of product
- Demonstrate critical thinking, strong communication, logical reasoning and technical convincing as needed
- Perform Techno-functional Testing (QA) for product features getting implemented as per the functional specifications
- Automate testing wherever possible using most feasible approaches (Excel/ VBA or Python or any available tool/s)
- Partner with architects and application teams for secure solution delivery.
- Provide functional support to all phases of delivery (Sprints, Testing, Hypercare etc.)
- Ability to guide and coach junior TAs and testers in the team
Requirements
- 14+ years Technical source code development experience, with right mix of design leadership, hands on development and overall technical leadership
- Working experience in GRC and IRM Domains – Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk in Financial Services Or non-Financial Services (General industries) sectors
- Working experience in Any of market leading GRC platforms (Archer, Servicenow, Auditboard, Metricstream or similar)
- Process Architecture, Process Designs (Functional)
- API integration and legacy application integrations
- Microservices based architectures
- Event-driven architectures
- Distributed computing, multi-tenant, large scale architectures
- Databases like SQL (PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Good to have: Front end (Either of – Angular, or React or similar)
- MEAN or MERN stack exposure
- Node js Exposure
- BI platforms (PowerBI or alike)
- Ability to lead a sub-competency / practice of developers, technical leads
- Client-facing, market-tuned, solution-driven professional
- Ability to participate and conduct Idea-thons / Hackathons, campaigns, contribute to white-papers etc.
