About the role
- Collaborate with the partner organizations and SCO functional teams to understand key requirements and develop tailored supply chain solutions for membership firms
- Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities for client or project specific assignments/RFPs
- Utilize advanced analytics tools such as PowerBI to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights
- Design and automate data reporting processes to streamline operations and enhance decision-making capabilities
- Contribute in developing and delivering high-quality RFP (Request for Proposal) responses that effectively showcase our company's capabilities and value proposition
- Create compelling presentations and sales collateral using PowerPoint to articulate complex concepts and solutions in a clear and concise manner
- Drive innovation and creative ideation by proposing novel approaches and strategies to solve clients' supply chain challenges
- Take ownership of the initiatives, demonstrating a high level of self-motivation, and accountability
- Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management to continuously enhance expertise and add client value
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master's degree preferred
- 8-10 years of proven experience in supply chain consulting, presales, or a related role, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as PowerBI, Excel, and Power Automate (formerly known as Microsoft Flow)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions
- Experience in RFP response creation and proposal development is highly desirable
- Self-driven and proactive with a passion for learning and professional development
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
