- Provide hands-on IT support for employees, including computer setup, software installation, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- Support employee onboarding by preparing laptops, accounts, and conference room introductions.
- Manage conference room systems to ensure seamless video conferencing and meeting technology experiences.
- Create new employee badges, manage the badging system, and serve as point of contact for access control for all NYC employees.
- Keep IT equipment organized and maintain accurate inventory of laptops, peripherals, and other devices.
- Oversee vendor delivery scheduling and management through the building’s vendor portal; ensure Certificates of Insurance (COIs) remain current.
- Assist when needed in general office operations: keeping the kitchen stocked, equipment functioning, assisting with events and larger meetings, and collaborating with the Executive Assistants to keep the office running smoothly at all times.
Requirements
- Strong technical aptitude and a genuine interest in IT and technology.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Comfortable multitasking and managing competing priorities.
- Previous internship, help desk, or IT support experience required.
- Previous office assistant experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Office 365, and video conferencing tools preferred.
