Lead ML for Payments as the technical lead for a focused ML group
Partner with Product & Payments Engineering to define problems and discover ML opportunities
Ship production models end-to-end, including problem framing and ongoing monitoring
Apply binary classification, anomaly detection, and multi-armed bandits
Implement robust monitoring and model lifecycle hygiene
Communicate findings and trade-offs to stakeholders

Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
7+ years of experience (with Bachelor's), 5+ years (with Master's), or 4+ years (with PhD) in data science or machine learning
Proficient coding skills in Python or Scala
Deep expertise in machine learning theory and algorithms (supervised and unsupervised)
Ability to design end-to-end ML solutions based on business requirements
Experience deploying ML models in production environments
Proven ability to translate ambiguous problems into actionable ML solutions
Proficient communication and stakeholder management skills
