About the role

  • Assist with the design and drafting of infrastructure projects including design of watermains, storm and sanitary sewers systems, site grading, drainage and stormwater management systems
  • Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to support design tasks, plan preparation, and modeling
  • Work with project managers to coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders during project approvals
  • Support project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and design documentation
  • Contribute to the detail design of civil and siteworks
  • Participate in fieldwork, including contract administration and construction review
  • Document construction activities, prepare site reports, and help assess contractor compliance
  • Take accurate measurements in the field to confirm quantities for contractor payments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is an asset (coursework, internships, or projects works)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team
  • Interest in infrastructure design, construction, and municipal engineering
  • A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to take on new challenges
