About the role
- Drive strategic roadmapping & risk management by translating business drivers into actionable engineering roadmaps.
- Arbitrate epic prioritization to balance production realities against business risks.
- Pursue the platform engineering & self-service vision, steering infrastructure towards a self-service model.
- Provide engineering leadership & organizational scaling by mentoring team leads.
- Own compensation strategy, manage yearly budget, and ensure consistency across teams.
Requirements
- Possess a strong technical DNA rooted in Cloud Infrastructure, Linux, and Virtualization.
- Proven track record of management experience, excelling at leading managers (Team Leads).
- Strategic vision to anticipate the "next move" and translate technical debt and operational risks into clear business language.
- Practice empathetic leadership when handling team dynamics and performance improvement plans.
- Demonstrate operational rigor in managing budget and resource planning.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
