Establish and manage training and development strategies for DRG coding audit programs
Develop and implement strategic need analyses and training plans for programs
Coordinate and evaluate curriculum development and conduct preparation and delivery of training
Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology
Apply adult learning theory and methodologies and knowledge of curriculum development procedures
Deliver presentations to large groups and share knowledge effectively to enhance learning
Employee development and performance management; work with physicians on coding practices
Collaborate with QA and Training teams; lead new hire and project-specific trainings
Scale and manage training programs for 100–150 coding employees
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience in DRG coding, Auditing, provider coding
Minimum 2 years of experience in DRG training role
Certification from AHIMA and or AAPC is mandatory with current membership
Excellent knowledge of DRG Coding – ICD, PCS, Coding guidance
Excellent verbal and written communication
Experience in Strategic management
Experience performing new hire trainings
Experience in project specific training
Experience handling QA and Training teams
Experience in training 100 – 150 coding employees
Strong PC skills; Excel, Word, PowerPoint and internet based programs
Bachelor's degree (B.SC. Life science or B.SC. Nursing is an added advantage)
Payer auditing experience (desirable)
Trainer experience (desirable)
Candidate should be from Chennai or ready to relocate; able to work from office
