About the role

  • Develop, implement, and optimize credit card acquisition underwriting strategies.
  • Design approval, pricing, and limit assignment strategies aligned to risk appetite.
  • Monitor approval rates, bad rates, and portfolio performance.
  • Conduct segmentation analysis to identify growth opportunities while controlling risk.
  • Lead champion/challenger testing and strategy experiments.
  • Leverage open banking transaction-level data to enhance underwriting models.
  • Develop risk segmentation using income validation, cash flow patterns, and affordability signals.
  • Monitor performance across affiliate and digital acquisition channels.
  • Assess channel-specific risk trends and adverse selection.
  • Optimize strategy by affiliate source and customer segment.
  • Build analytical datasets using SQL.
  • Develop strategy logic and performance tracking using SAS.
  • Create dashboards and risk reporting for senior management.
  • Perform cohort analysis, vintage analysis, and early delinquency tracking.

Requirements

  • Graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in risk analytics or data analysis.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAS and SQL.
  • Deep understanding of credit risk frameworks.
  • Exposure to digital acquisition channels including affiliate marketing.
