About the role
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for operations and leadership
- Design and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPI trackers
- Ensure 100% accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of reporting
- Analyze trends, productivity, SLA, efficiency, and performance metrics
- Highlight risks, opportunities, and actionable insights for business leaders
- Support client and internal reviews with meaningful data narratives
- Drive automation of recurring MIS using Excel VBA, Power BI, SQL, or Power Automate
- Reduce manual effort and TAT through process improvements
- Support migration from spreadsheet‑based reporting to BI platforms
- Work closely with Operations, Analytics, Finance, HR, and IT teams
- Translate business requirements into reporting solutions
- Act as single point of contact for MIS for assigned accounts/programs
- Manage and review work of MIS analysts/executives
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality benchmarks, and best practices
- Coach team members on reporting standards and analytics skills
- Maintain data definitions, SOPs, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with EXL data security, audit, and client requirements
Requirements
- Graduate in Engineering, Computers, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 6–10 years of experience in MIS / Reporting / Business Analytics
- Minimum 2 years in a Team Lead / Manager role
- Advanced MS Excel (Pivot, Power Query, Macros)
- Strong knowledge of Power Automate / RPA Tool
- Power BI / Tableau – strong hands‑on experience
- SQL – working knowledge
- Experience handling large operational datasets
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- Excellent stakeholder communication
- Attention to detail and ownership
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, client‑driven environments
