Lead and manage complex initiatives across the life insurance and annuity landscape within TPA ecosystems.
Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, work breakdown structures, product backlogs, sprint backlogs, and project charters.
Manage cross-functional team members, subject matter experts, vendors, and client stakeholders; serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders.
Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards and company policies.
Identify and mitigate project risks specific to life and annuity projects.
Monitor and manage project budgets and oversee quality assurance of deliverables.
Maintain detailed project documentation including plans, reports, and change requests.
Lead and motivate project teams, provide thought leadership, and resolve complex issues.
Lead implementation of AI initiatives: identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and analytics, collaborate with data science and engineering teams, and integrate AI into platforms such as LifePRO, LDS, portals, and operations systems.
Requirements
Must have BS degree and 5-10 years of experience managing technology projects. Agile/Scrum certification and/or PMI certification preferred.
Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on life insurance and annuity products implementation and TPA operations.
Demonstrated success in managing complex projects in the insurance industry.
Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
In-depth understanding of life insurance and annuity products, industry regulations, and best practices.
Experience working within TPA operating models, managing system integrations, platform upgrades, and implementing digital and AI-based initiatives.
