About the role
- Lead the project management activities for the IT function by coordinating, prioritizing, and negotiating the execution of all assigned projects and contracts.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of solutions that address specific business needs, ensuring technology and processes align with organizational goals.
- Utilize Agile, PM, and BA processes to plan and facilitate key projects and programs and engage with teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Drive key project milestones, track and publish/communicate updates and realized business value, and oversee Vendor Management relationships.
- Manage the forecast and AOP for the SSO team and coordinate with Finance on AOP dates and planning for all of AAI.
- Define standards and facilitate the capture of financial information across AAI and facilitate cadence for preparing and reporting financial health of AAI.
- Define, implement, and sustain the AAI communication strategy and oversee communications to promote AAI achievements, solutions, and successes.
- Work closely with AAI Leadership Team to ensure cadence and updates to communications and appropriate channels.
- Introduce Change Management across AAI as required and help IT Project Managers assess project risk using quality tools, coaching on alternatives and change management approaches.
- Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects, managing project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables, schedule and facilitate project-related meetings, and develop or update project plans including objectives, technologies, systems, specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
- Utilize advanced Project Management processes and tools to balance scope, schedule, and resources and develop strong relationships to deliver business value using Business Relationship Management practices.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or related field and 3 years of experience as an IT or Business Intelligence Analyst, Project Manager, or related position.
- Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or related field and 6 years of experience as an IT or Business Intelligence Analyst, Project Manager, or related position.
- Experience developing and implementing solutions that address specific business needs.
- Experience with Agile, PM, BA processes.
- Vendor Management experience.
- AOP planning experience for AAI and coordination with Finance on AOP dates and planning.
- Experience defining and facilitating capture of financial information and reporting financial health.
- Experience defining, implementing, and sustaining communication strategy.
- Understanding and application of Change Management approaches.
- Ability to assess project risk through use of quality tools and coach Project Managers on alternatives and solutions.
- Proficiency with Project Management processes and tools and Business Relationship Management practices.
- Experience as an IT or Business Intelligence Analyst, Project Manager, or related position.
