Execute and drive sales strategies in assigned territories reporting to the APAC Sales Director.
Focus on Datacenters, Hyperscalers and Enterprise accounts throughout the South-East Asia region.
Responsible for development and growth of EXFO business (Test & Measurement and Remote Fiber Testing and Monitoring) in the region.
Sell assigned EXFO products and services into defined territory and market segments.
Lead, maintain and establish relationships with channel partners and key accounts.
Execute regional sales and channel strategy and country marketing plans for key focus markets.
Manage and grow sales pipeline and maintain accurate sales resources and databases.
Lead or support trade shows, conferences, customer demonstrations, and field evaluations; provide product demonstrations and application support.
Manage technical aspects of lab evaluations to ensure product approval; respond to RFPs in coordination with PLMs.
Maintain and prepare demo materials, take responsibility for demo equipment and assigned company assets.
Serve as technical interface between Product Management and customers, developing and maintaining key technical relationships at focus accounts.
Requirements
Minimum 8 to 10 years experience in sales development/account management/channel sales in the South-East Asia Datacenters & Hyperscalers + Enterprise market segment.
University degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or an appropriate field; Business degree an asset.
Exceptional domain knowledge of Data Center, Hyperscalers operations and Enterprise networks in the SEA region.
Knowledge of Fiber Optic Testing, PON, MPLS/IPVPN/Ethernet technologies, DWDM.
Knowledge of fiber testing methodologies, high-speed transmission (100G/400G+), optical spectrum, and fiber monitoring.
Experience and familiarity with Remote Fiber Testing and Monitoring.
Competent knowledge and experience of network testing tools and monitoring systems.
Familiar with MS Office tools, Visio, and MS Project.
Demonstrated successful track record working with Data Center, Hyperscaler and Enterprise customers in the SEA region and consistently meeting sales quotas for 3+ years.
Ability to propose technology solutions to Data Center, Hyperscaler and Enterprise customers and work independently.
Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficient understanding of SEA Data Center, Hyperscalers and Enterprise trends and technology advancements.
Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to manage complex sales processes.
English both written and spoken.
