About the role
- Assist engineering teams in creating electronic components, symbols, and PCB footprints.
- Collaborate with engineers to analyze designs and propose routing strategies.
- Work closely with the mechanical engineering team to define product mechanical constraints and interfaces.
- Collaborate with PCB manufacturing partners to review fabrication and assembly processes and ensure manufacturability.
- Work with simulation specialists to develop PCB design strategies, including signal integrity and thermal considerations.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive PCB design packages for fabrication and assembly.
- Coordinate with internal assembly and process specialists.
Requirements
- College diploma in Electronics or equivalent.
- 8+ years of R&D experience, primarily in PCB design.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Bilingual (French and English).
