About the role
- Develop and deliver local and market business plans and strategies aligned with market level priorities
- Create strategic business plans for potential targets and priorities leveraging a range of tactics to address identified customer and market needs
- Extend and strengthen stakeholder relationships across the market
- Expand current business opportunities in a variety of organizations and businesses
- Work with internal cross-functional partners
- Harness data from a range of sources to track progress against business and customer plans
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the market
- Articulate a clear and compelling value proposition based on up-to-date product and technical expertise
- Build coalitions and advocacy through chains of influence
- Inform, educate, and enable target stakeholders about Exact Sciences products and value propositions
- Collaborate with other functions and roles to provide necessary technical, clinical, and business content
- Generate deep insight into local healthcare markets
- Analyze the treatment journey across the local system of care
- Build a network of relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), HCPs, and other stakeholders across the healthcare market
- Synthesize data from a range of formal and informal sources to understand the evolving and dynamic local care system
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales role in a medical, healthcare or related field
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies to drive growth
- Proficiency in applying effective sales process and relationship building skills
- Possession of a valid driver’s license; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed
- No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months
- No alcohol or drug event in which a vehicle was driven by the candidate or employee, including but not limited to Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) failure, refusal to submit to alcohol or drug test, alcohol related suspension, etc. in the last 36 months
- No other results from the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check that exposes Exact Sciences to what Exact Sciences deems to be an unacceptable level of liability
- Ability to meet any requirements set by healthcare facilities for access to those facilities (e.g. vaccination requirements, mask requirements, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
