About the role
- Lead the strategic direction, design, governance, and management of U.S. and North America benefits programs
- Ensure benefit plans remain competitive and compliant
- Direct vendor governance for more than 50 external partners
- Lead merger, acquisition, and divestiture activity
- Provide strategic support to business leaders and HR partners
- Develop organizational policies and oversee HR frameworks and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Graduate degree (MBA) preferred; CEBS certification strongly preferred
- 10+ years senior‑executive leadership in large‑company employee benefits
- Deep working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, IRS Code, COBRA, HITECH, FMLA, ADA
- Experience as a global benefits head
- Ownership of financial management, audits, actuarial valuations, nondiscrimination testing
- Hands‑on experience with non‑qualified executive deferred compensation
- Proven ability to partner with in‑house and external counsel
