About the role

  • Gathering and analyzing customer requirements for vSphere Supervisor with VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation).
  • Creating technical concepts focused on Kubernetes platforms on vSphere.
  • Conducting strategy workshops and providing consulting on architecture and design based on vSphere Kubernetes Service.
  • Developing implementation roadmaps based on strategic decisions.
  • Implementing designed solutions including deployment of namespaces, network policies and pods, and cluster storage.
  • Troubleshooting issues in Kubernetes environments managed through vSphere Supervisor.
  • Designing and automating Service Catalogs based on VCF Automation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience in Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) environments.
  • Proven experience delivering solution design and implementation (Consulting role) with VMware vSphere Supervisor (vSphere Kubernetes Service) or similar Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on knowledge of vSphere Supervisor (vSphere with Tanzu), including management of Namespaces, Supervisor Services, network policies, storage, security, image registries (Harbor), certificate management (Cert Manager), and ingress solutions (Contour, Nginx).
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and strong customer orientation.
  • Fluent in Spanish and excellent technical English.
  • Ideally, you have hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation solutions integrated with vSphere Supervisor and vSphere Kubernetes Service.
  • Knowledge of Tanzu Mission Control (TMC) and Velero (backup).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools, integrated into delivery pipelines for Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience in Automation tools.
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions for containerized workloads and virtual machines.
  • Participation in migration projects involving containerized workloads.
  • Experience in automating data centers and Kubernetes environments using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, or Helm.
  • Can work according to the recommendations of ITIL best practices and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
