About the role
- Define architecture and technical roadmap for scalable AI systems aligned with business goals.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, promoting best practices in software development and system design.
- Design and implement machine learning infrastructure, including data pipelines, model training, and deployment workflows.
- Ensure high engineering standards through testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and robust code review processes.
- Lead project planning and execution, managing priorities, timelines, and deliverables in a remote environment.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and DevOps teams to align AI initiatives with business requirements.
- Evaluate and integrate new AI/ML tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve system performance and innovation.
- Monitor system health and model performance, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and reliability.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and career development within the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- 2+ years in a technical leadership role or similar position.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML infrastructure, including model training, deployment, and MLOps pipelines.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with TypeScript.
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems and data pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, especially in remote teams.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for complex systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
