About the role
- As Head of Digitalization, you are responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the digital transformation.
- You further develop the digitalization strategy, define target states and ensure their implementation across the organization.
- Organizational placement: You report to the Head of IT & Digitalization.
- You lead the Digitalization Department, project teams and process management.
- You work closely with IT, HR, Quality Management, Data Protection, Communications and the heads of specialist departments.
- (Co-)development and ongoing development of the digitalization strategy
- Definition of the digital target architecture
- Establishment of company-wide digital governance
- Identification of digitalization potentials and innovation topics
- Advising executive management on digital matters
- Leading and managing digitalization projects
- Analysis and optimization of existing business processes
- Introduction of new technologies and platforms
- Ensuring system interoperability
- Definition of KPIs to measure digital progress
- Change management & cultural development
- Building a digital culture within the company
- Planning and implementing change measures
- Developing training concepts and digital learning formats
- Facilitating workshops and innovation formats
- Leading the Digitalization Department
- Employee development and leadership
- Budget and resource planning
- Managing external partners
- Supporting transformation and innovation projects
- Piloting and scaling digital solutions
- Conducting cost-benefit analyses
Requirements
- Degree in Digitalization, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Social Management or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in digital transformation, process management or organizational development
- Solid knowledge of project management (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI, Scrum)
- Experience in process management (BPMN, Lean Management)
- Experience in multi-project and change management
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Strategic, analytical thinking and a structured way of working
- High social competence and empathy in change processes
