About the role
- Own and evolve LawRank’s SEO playbook across technical, on-site, local, and off-site SEO Develop scalable SEO strategies tailored for law firms, ensuring performance-driven client outcomes
- Stay ahead of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices, positioning LawRank as a market leader in attorney SEO Lead and mentor a global SEO team, including managers and individual contributors, with a focus on LATAM-based workforce
- Define department structure to support current and future growth; oversee capacity planning and resource allocation
- Drive hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives
- Partner with Client Success, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of SEO strategies
- Support pre-sales efforts with strategy scoping and pitch input on complex or high-value SEO opportunities
- Provide technical oversight for website migrations to ensure clean implementation and ranking stability
- Lead testing and rollout of new SEO services, tools, and automation to increase efficiency and results
- Evaluate and procure new SEO technologies to support data-driven decisions and workflow automation
- Standardize SEO documentation and knowledge base to ensure consistency across team operations
- Serve as the subject matter expert in attorney SEO, contributing thought leadership, internal training, and external education when needed Interface with high-profile clients in partnership with the Client Success team to ensure satisfaction and retention
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience if hands-on SEO experience with at least 5+ in leadership roles within a high-volume, fast-moving marketing agency environment
- Proven success managing and scaling global SEO teams, including LATAM-based professionals
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with SEO including technical, onsite, local, and offsite strategies
- Experience in SEO marketing for legal clientele (law firms, attorneys)
- Passionate about the SEO industry, with the ability to contribute thought leadership to the agency
- Experience driving tests and innovation to improve SEO, content, email, and social performance
- Strong executive presence and verbal communication skills
- Bias for action and ability to make decisions quickly and thoughtfully
- Ability to set a vision and generate employee buy-in
- Ability to travel to Mexico on a quarterly basis
