Infrastructure Engineer

• Lead design, implementation, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, wireless)
• Own and mature observability strategy across infrastructure and applications using Datadog, Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, SNMP-based polling, and similar platforms
• Build proactive monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding to drive faster detection and resolution of issues
• Design and manage network and cloud infrastructure using Terraform (or equivalent IaC tools)
• Develop reusable modules for network configurations, monitoring policies, and cloud infrastructure components
• Implement version-controlled infrastructure configurations with full auditability
• Leverage GitHub (GitOps) for:
• Source control of infrastructure and network configurations
• Pull request-based change management
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for infrastructure deployments
• Enforce approval workflows, testing, and promotion across environments (dev → prod)
• Treat infrastructure changes as code with full traceability and rollback capability
• Manage and optimize infrastructure across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) from a networking and operations lens
• Automate routine IT operations tasks through scripting to reduce manual effort
• Support incident response and root cause analysis for network and infrastructure issues
• Maintain documentation and diagrams reflecting current network and infrastructure state

• Design and build a self-service developer platform from the ground up — software catalog, golden-path templates, and developer portal experience using Backstage
• Stand up and own GitOps-based continuous delivery with Argo CD or Flux CD, including app-of-apps patterns, sync policies, and progressive rollout
• Build and maintain automated workflow orchestration using Argo Workflows — CI pipelines, scheduled jobs, and event-driven automation
• Architect, operate, and scale production Kubernetes environments that the rest of the platform runs on
• Design and run saturation and load testing with k6 — building reusable test templates and wiring them into the delivery pipeline
• Implement policy enforcement and admission control with Kyverno, including signed/verified container image policies
• Develop and use automation tools effectively to operate, manage, and scale production and development environments quickly
• Design and execute new platform capabilities while continuously improving existing ones
• Participate in regular customer and internal EverOps scrums
• Provide operational support and project deployments for our customer environments

• Own day-to-day operations of Azure SQL Managed Instance environments including performance monitoring, troubleshooting blocking and long-running queries, index and statistics maintenance, and SQL Agent job management
• Monitor, triage, and restart Azure Data Factory pipeline runs; understand ETL dependencies and troubleshoot integration failures between ADF, SQL MI, and Azure Storage
• Manage SSIS package execution and re-runs, including HR/personnel integration processes and common failure pattern diagnosis
• Support Azure infrastructure operations including App Services, App Service Environments, deployment slots, WebJobs, Storage Accounts, and certificate lifecycle management
• Validate and test database backups, restores, and job chains to ensure recoverability
• Continuously inventory manual operational tasks across the data stack and prioritize them for automation
• Design and implement automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, or Azure Functions to eliminate repetitive manual work
• Build self-healing pipeline patterns in ADF and Azure DevOps – automatic retry logic, alerting, and recovery runbooks
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for data platform and infrastructure deployments
• Participate in regular customer and internal EverOps scrums
• Diagnose and differentiate between application-layer, data platform, and infrastructure-layer issues
• Produce high-quality daily operational reports and documentation
• Participate in the off-hours on-call rotation and perform planned off-hours maintenance as required

• Configure SAML 2.0 and OIDC SSO integrations end-to-end, leading technical coordination with third-party vendors.
• Set up SCIM 2.0 provisioning and implement group-based Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within Okta.
• Create and synchronize target groups utilizing the internal IAM portal.
• Deploy Okta application configurations (including SAML/OIDC apps, group patterns, and SCIM) via Terraform within a shared Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repository.
• Manage ongoing daily access operations, including provisioning/deprovisioning lifecycles and URI/attribute modifications.
• Author, present, and execute Change Advisory Board (CAB) tickets for all production-level modifications.
