Frontend Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain the most complex components of the software platform — including core system services, high-reliability infrastructure, critical APIs, and integration architecture
• Analyze system performance, scalability constraints, and technical debt, and develop and execute remediation plans that improve reliability and long-term maintainability
• Evaluate emerging software engineering tools, architectural patterns, and methodologies
• Define and champion engineering best practices, code standards, testing frameworks, and architectural guidelines
• Conduct rigorous code and design reviews
• Develop and maintain authoritative technical documentation
• Own the technical design of major platform initiatives
• Partner closely with peers and technical leaders on platform roadmap decisions
• Ensure that system design decisions account for security, reliability, observability, and compliance requirements
• Serve as the primary technical mentor for less experienced engineers on the team
• Contribute to onboarding frameworks and internal technical learning resources
• Partner with Product, QA, and Operations stakeholders on technical requirements

Principal Software Engineer, Front-end

Product Designer

• Drive discovery across the portfolio in partnership with Engineering and Product.
• Develop deep understanding of learner populations, educator workflows, stakeholder goals, and technical opportunities through UX research and analytics, generating insights that move the team forward.
• Translate user needs into shippable designs.
• Move confidently from ambiguous problem spaces to low-fidelity concepts, refined flows, and production-ready artifacts.
• Own quality through handoff and ensure shipped experiences meet interaction, visual, and learning experience standards.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design.
• Apply WCAG standards and inclusive design principles across all work — for learners of all ages, abilities, and technical literacy levels. In edtech, this is foundational, not optional.
• Contribute to a coherent design system. Help evolve shared components, patterns, and documentation that scale gracefully across our product lines and learning modalities — not just use what exists, but actively shape what should.
• Orient towards outcomes. Help define product outcomes that align to business goals and strategy, and set up systems to track the effectiveness of our designs in achieving them.
• Communicate and influence across teams. Articulate design rationale clearly in cross-functional settings — with Product, Engineering, Curriculum, and senior stakeholders — and build the shared understanding that keeps complex initiatives moving.
• Knowledge share. Share craft, process knowledge, and design best practices with other designers and team members. Contribute to a culture where feedback is specific, growth is expected, and quality is a shared standard.

Senior UX Designer, Platform

Cloud Engineer

• Shape and execute the multi-year cloud architecture strategy for EVERFI's platform, aligning infrastructure direction with business growth, product roadmap, and organizational scalability goals
• Lead enterprise-wide architecture reviews and establish cloud governance standards, guardrails, and best practices adopted across all engineering teams
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML infrastructure, FinOps, platform engineering tooling) and make forward-looking recommendations to VP and CTO leadership
• Serve as a technical decision-maker and escalation point for complex, cross-functional cloud architecture challenges
• Design, build, maintain, and monitor internal PaaS systems in the cloud at enterprise scale — with a focus on high availability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency
• Architect and oversee the full lifecycle of cloud deployment tooling, ensuring CI/CD systems are continuously optimized for speed, safety, and developer experience
• Ensure all cloud environments are designed and administered in accordance with company security guidelines, SOC 2 compliance requirements, FERPA, and applicable data privacy regulations
• Act as a senior technical advisor to Engineering, Product, and Executive leadership on all cloud infrastructure decisions

Senior Principal Cloud Architecture Engineer

Product Manager

• Own and maintain the product roadmap and backlog for one or more data product areas — such as learner analytics, outcomes reporting, or institutional intelligence tools
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility
• Conduct ongoing customer discovery, user research, and competitive analysis to deepen understanding of the needs of institutional buyers, learning administrators, and learners
• Write clear, detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements
• Define and drive the development of data platform features that serve both external customers and internal operational needs
• Serve as the day-to-day connective tissue between technical data teams and commercial stakeholders
