About the role

  • Support for ERP implementation projects from a functional and process-oriented finance perspective.
  • Act as the link between finance business units and technical ERP teams.
  • Advise on translating FI/CO requirements into ERP configurations.
  • Lead accounting/finance workstreams in ERP implementation projects.
  • Analyze and redesign financial processes (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.).
  • Support chart of accounts design and financial data migration.
  • Define reporting structures and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct workshops with clients' finance teams.
  • Support testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities.

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration or a related field.
  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, tax advisor) is highly desirable.
  • Experience as a consultant for German and/or European companies.
  • Solid knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB/GoBD), IFRS, and EU financial regulations.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and closing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Experience in ERP implementation projects is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Very good German language skills.
