About the role

  • We are looking for an experienced Solution Consultant to support our ERP implementation projects from a functional and process-oriented financial perspective.
  • You will act as the interface between accounting/business finance teams and the technical ERP teams.
  • The role also includes providing business-oriented financial advisory services.
  • You will play a key role in translating FI/CO requirements into ERP configurations.
  • Responsibilities include: leading the accounting workstreams in ERP implementation projects.
  • Analyzing and redesigning financial processes.
  • Supporting chart of accounts design and the migration of financial data.
  • Conducting workshops with clients' finance teams.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, German tax advisor/Steuerberater) is highly desirable.
  • Experience as a consultant for German and/or European companies.
  • Solid knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB/GoBD), IFRS and EU financial regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and closing processes.
  • Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Experience in ERP implementation projects is a big plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Very good German language skills.
