About the role

Assist team with revenue accounting functions
Reconcile accounts to monthly financial statements
Revenue recognition and revenue related journal entry postings
Assist in month-end closing activities and analysis
Work with the Revenue Seniors and accounting team members with special projects of the Finance department

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other similar business major
Moderate excel skills
General understanding of a company’s month-end close cycle
Working knowledge of US GAAP accounting
Strong attention to detail, be well-organized and have solid interpersonal and communication skills
High level of attention to detail/accuracy. Exercise discretion and good judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Positive attitude approaching any task no matter how big/small.
Approaches projects with creativity and is willing to think outside of the box.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to travel for Denver, Colorado for the intern kickoff week and possibly the Intern executive presentations.
Nice to Have: Completion of multiple upper-level accounting courses
Understanding of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition standards
Understanding of SAAS.
