About the role
- Own the end-to-end competitive intelligence function: monitoring, conducting evaluations, analysis, synthesis, and distribution of insights across the organization.
- Monitor competitive developments including product launches, pricing changes, messaging shifts, partnerships, and M&A activity, and distill them into timely, actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain competitive battle cards, win/loss insights, executive briefings, and detailed product comparison documentation.
- Build and operationalize a repeatable cadence for competitive updates so the organization always has a current, accurate view of the landscape.
- Become a subject-matter expert on EvenUp's product capabilities and the broader legal AI ecosystem, with enough technical depth to evaluate AI-driven features, output quality, and workflow differentiation.
- Translate competitive findings into product recommendations: surface feature gaps, validate differentiation claims, and provide evidence-based input to product roadmap discussions.
- Partner with Product Management and Product Marketing to ensure competitive insights inform positioning, packaging, and prioritization decisions.
- Synthesize macro market trends (AI adoption in legal, regulatory shifts, new entrants) into strategic implications for EvenUp's business.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to incorporate field intelligence (objections, competitive mentions, deal feedback) into the competitive knowledge base.
- Produce enablement content that helps sellers confidently position against competitors: talk tracks, objection handling guides, and competitive positioning one-pagers.
- Support strategic deal reviews and high-stakes renewals with tailored competitive analysis when needed.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement, and Marketing to ensure competitive content is accessible, current, and embedded into existing workflows and tools.
