About the role
- Build and maintain scalable, high-quality frontend systems that power core product experiences
- Translate product and design requirements into intuitive, accessible, and performant user interfaces
- Contribute to frontend architecture decisions that support long-term maintainability and scalability
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver end-to-end features
- Uphold a high bar for performance, accessibility, and user experience
- Contribute to a strong frontend engineering culture through mentorship and best practices
- Design and implement high-performance, accessible, and elegant user interfaces for EvenUp’s AI-driven platform.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to bring new features to life with exceptional quality and responsiveness.
- Contribute to architectural decisions across major product surfaces, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and long-term performance.
- Develop and maintain design system components and shared frontend libraries to streamline development across teams.
- Optimize applications for speed, accessibility (a11y), SEO, and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
- Play a key role in complex projects from ideation through deployment, while mentoring peers and promoting frontend best practices in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Deep experience with modern frontend technologies such as React (or similar frameworks like Vue or Svelte), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Strong understanding of state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Jotai) and modern frontend architecture patterns
- Experience working with design systems, component libraries, and close UI/UX collaboration using tools like Figma
- Solid knowledge of web performance optimization, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles
- Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress, and version control using Git
- Familiarity with modern frontend build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack) and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality, user-facing products in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
