About the role
- Own and manage the IT demand pipeline for a specific business domain, serving as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
- Collect and evaluate new demand requests, validating their strategic alignment, expected benefits, scope, and timing
- Conduct Business Analyst activities during early-stage project definition, including requirements gathering and initial scoping
- Organize and facilitate demand intake workshops with IT architects and business leads
- Maintain demand tracking and documentation in JIRA, ensuring accuracy and transparency across teams
- Support prioritization and governance processes by preparing decision-making inputs, value assessments, and business cases
- Collaborate with IT solution architects and delivery teams to assess technical feasibility and resource needs
- Provide clear, consistent updates on demand status, milestones, and interdependencies to leadership and stakeholders
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in IT demand management, business analysis, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of telecommunications systems; prior experience with a satellite telecom operator is a strong plus
- Proven ability to gather business requirements and contribute to early-stage project scoping
- Experience working with cross-functional and international teams in multicultural environments
- Fluency in English; Italian and/or French are plus
- Proficiency in demand/project management tools such as JIRA
