About the role

  • Own and scale our marketing strategy
  • Define and execute 9fin’s global marketing vision across product marketing, demand generation, ABM, brand, content, communications and customer marketing
  • Build a predictable, metrics-driven demand engine that supports sustained pipeline and revenue growth
  • Own the full marketing tech stack and ensure data, attribution and reporting drive clear decision-making
  • Design and run sophisticated account-based marketing programmes for our largest enterprise customers
  • Use data and insight to identify, prioritise and penetrate key accounts with highly personalised messaging
  • Partner tightly with Sales and Customer Success to drive pipeline creation, conversion and expansion
  • Establish clear success metrics across pipeline impact, conversion and retention
  • Own 9fin’s positioning and narrative as we define and lead a new category
  • Translate deep customer and market insight into compelling messaging that resonates with senior decision-makers
  • Lead competitive intelligence and feed clear market insight back into Product and Sales
  • Establish 9fin and its leaders as trusted voices in the credit and capital markets ecosystem
  • Lead our global events strategy, including field, industry and conversion-focused events
  • Ensure events, sponsorships and partnerships deliver measurable impact on pipeline and market share
  • Oversee PR, analyst relations, investor communications and corporate storytelling
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to the CEO, leadership team and Board
  • Help scale the company through a period of rapid growth and increasing complexity
  • Build, mentor and inspire a high-performing global marketing team
  • Champion a culture of clarity, ownership, humility and high standards

Requirements

  • Significant senior marketing leadership experience (VP-level or equivalent) in a B2B enterprise SaaS business
  • A proven track record of building and scaling marketing functions in high-growth environments
  • Deep expertise in enterprise demand generation and account-based marketing
  • Strong instincts for positioning, messaging and storytelling, with a clear link to commercial outcomes
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales on enterprise GTM and revenue growth
  • Comfort operating at both strategic and hands-on levels
  • Experience building and leading hybrid, international teams
  • Highly data-driven, with strong understanding of marketing analytics and performance measurement
  • Excellent communicator, able to influence at executive, Board and customer level.
