About the role

  • Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating candidates;
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers or clients to discuss needs;
  • Use state of the art recruitment tools;
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits;
  • Follow and manage new IT technologies and create detailed job descriptions;
  • Assist with implementing and utilizing effective recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified candidates, conduct in-depth screening of perspective applicants, establish and maintain a strong recruiting presence and create an effective service image;
  • Build networks through industry contacts, employees, and job boards (e.g. social media) to recruit the best talent for the Outsourcing missions;
  • Research and recommend new sources for candidate recruitment in new markets;
  • Conduct cold calls to reach out to potential candidates;
  • Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; and emphasizing benefits and perks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree / Diploma in Administration and / or Human Resources and / or other relevant social science disciplines;
  • Previous experience of minimum 2 years in the recruitment field;
  • Experience in IT and International recruitment will be highly appreciated;
  • Experience in social media sourcing;
  • General knowledge of labour legislation and practices;
  • Self-motivated and directed- hungry to add impact;
  • Proactive- taking initiative and follow through is a must;
  • Curious- researching market trends with the ability to translate back to the business;
  • Accustomed to multitasking and meeting tight deadlines;
  • Work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment;
  • Prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently;
  • Organization skills, accuracy and thoroughness, ability to monitor work for quality;
  • Advanced written and verbal communication and negotiation skills;
  • Approachability, energy and enthusiasm to motivate and engage others;
  • Proficiency in office automation tools and Internet use;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Fluency in French is a strong plus.
