About the role

  • Plan, Execute and Deliver ad-hoc research projects.
  • Planning of projects includes development of briefs, Word and Excel templates, PPT outlines and other materials that will support field research.
  • Conducting preliminary research into new topics to gain basic understanding about researched industry, main drivers, players and sales channels.
  • Research planning and resource allocation, according to budget, timeline and team availability.
  • Conduct thorough, detailed research across multiple ad-hoc studies and public sources.
  • Conduct interviews with trade associations, leading companies and internal Euromonitor associates.
  • Utilize in-house resources and external published information.
  • Share new resources with colleagues and seek out new sources of information.
  • Day-to-day line management of any contract analysts.
  • Work closely with the Research Operations Team.
  • Continued organization of all folders and materials associated with current projects.
  • A full review and/or production of all generated materials.
  • Liaising with colleagues in other regional offices to ensure project team members have a clear understanding of goals, objectives, and timelines.
  • Delivering timely, thorough analysis that meets client objectives.
  • Client communication and engagement from project inception through project completion.
  • Presenting findings to clients to ensure all objectives have been met.
  • Understanding, maintaining, and developing the relationship between Euromonitor and any research client.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in written and verbally. Spanish is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree is a must – we welcome people from different backgrounds; MBA or a Masters degree are a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience with data building methodologies
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of consumer market trends and dynamics and experience with client interactions are a welcome plus
