About the role

  • Oversee full research management, from project set-up and execution to final delivery.
  • Analyze large-scale quantitative datasets, including SKU-level data, ecommerce POS, consumer/B2B surveys, pricing, social listening, clickstream, and forecasts, to uncover trends and market drivers.
  • Develop clear, story-driven narratives that translate complex findings into actionable insights and meaningful business implications for clients.
  • Balance insights from diverse research methods to provide a holistic evidence base.
  • Identify data quality issues to propose solutions and communicate recommendations clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effectively use dashboards and reporting tools to bring data to life and communicate insights in a visually compelling way.
  • Work closely and manage cross-functional internal teams to deliver high-quality, integrated project outcomes.
  • Leverage client relationships and subject-matter expertise to identify opportunities for repeatable project work and expand solutions across accounts in collaboration with sales teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of high-quality research experience and project management.
  • Demonstrated experience handling large datasets and synthesizing multiple data sources into high‑quality, commercially relevant insights.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in client communication and direct client-facing engagements.
  • A self-motivated, proactive attitude is critical for success.
  • Experience in CPG, consulting, retail or client-side environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent oral, written and public speaking/ presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate diverse data sources into compelling, story-led insights.
  • High-level strategic and lateral thinking, with the ability to challenge conventions and generate solutions that address both consumer and business needs.
  • Experience developing and validating revenue-generating concepts using consumer-centric or innovation frameworks (e.g., business model canvas, lean canvas, design thinking).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or Python) and AI‑assisted features that can support analysis is an advantage but not required.
  • Interest in new product development processes, and familiarity with product positioning including ingredients, claims, or product characteristics is an advantage.
  • Awareness of commercial acumen and comfort with consultative selling approaches.
