About the role
- Renew and negotiate subscriptions and contracts, securing renewals and annual upsell targets
- Serve as primary client contact and hub for inbound requests, directing clients to the right resources
- Expand product adoption and entrench Euromonitor data and analysis within client organizations
- Build relationships and broader networks inside client organizations including meetings and travel with decision makers
- Act as EMI spokesperson to spread awareness of products and services and build internal champions
- Create tailored, benefit-led value propositions for different teams and divisions
- Use polite persistence and varied engagement cadence to reach senior executives and resolve sales obstacles
- Negotiate and support closing syndicated proposals and create mutually beneficial long-term agreements
- Collaborate across roles and regions including Client Consultants, global counterparts and syndicated research teams
- Identify personal development gaps, influence across teams, and perform to targets while maintaining work/life balance
Requirements
- Excellence in current role, goal oriented and consistently at or over target
- Minimum of 2+ years of sales experience
- Bachelor's required
- Experience working with F500 companies preferred
- Comfortable interacting with executives within various levels and functions
- Highly organized with excellent time management, managing numerous contacts including scheduling, follow up, and establishing frequent points of interaction
- Strong communication, negotiation, and diplomacy skills
- Knowledge of consumer market trends and dynamics preferable
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal colleagues
- Willingness to travel quarterly for key client meetings
