About the role
- Prepare sales and investment forecasts by product, and identify and analyze market opportunities to maximize profits and minimize costs.
- Create conditions to achieve the sales and market share objectives defined in the marketing plans.
- Analyze and consolidate market data (including field follow-up), international data (including clinical data) and reports, and perform feasibility analyses for product launches and assessments of opportunities/threats for existing products.
- Develop the Marketing plan for assigned products, including: development and approval of promotional campaigns, sales contests, support activities (such as medical events, service provisions, point-of-sale actions, regional actions, etc.).
- Develop promotional strategy for the sales team.
- Periodically accompany medical representatives in the field and during office visits to evaluate the effectiveness of developed marketing tools.
- Participate in promotional cycle meetings with district offices.
- Propose new products and line extensions related to the product line of responsibility.
- Monitor and provide information to support the development of product manuals together with the Training Manager.
- Monitor sales results and align with production forecasts related to Production Planning and Control (PCP).
- Monitor inventory of saleable products and promotional free samples.
- Provide additional information requested by the Training Manager for use in training meetings.
- Participate in meetings for new medical representatives.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Advertising, Marketing, or Pharmacy.
- Postgraduate degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Intermediate English preferred.
- Intermediate Spanish preferred.
- Relevant experience in the area.
- Experience with respiratory products, antibiotics and/or Central Nervous System (CNS) product lines.
