About the role
- Report to our Senior Manager, Accounting and work closely with Finance and Accounting teams
- Assist with tasks related to Accounts Receivable and Billing
- Liaise daily with finance, accounting, sales and customer success teams
- Direct contact with customers to help keep billing on track
- Data Integrity & Analysis: work closely with various departments in data cleanup exercises to enhance our functional processes
- Accounting Tasks & Projects: update customers on internal changes and help with tax projects
- Finance Administration: ensure the accuracy of records and improve overall organization of finance documentation
- Collaborate: manage ad hoc requests from finance and accounting teams as required
- Support special projects and ad-hoc tasks; take on additional responsibility as needed
- Position is a Jan–April co-op term with anticipated start date Jan 6, 2026
Requirements
- Working toward your diploma or degree within the area of Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Must be enrolled in a Co-Op program
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Strong computer skills such as Microsoft Office, with Intermediate Excel skills required
- A self-starter that can work independently although able to work with internal teams as needed
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize
- A high level of accountability, teamwork, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
