About the role
- Lead client engagements with a consultative mindset, ensuring clear communication and alignment across stakeholders.
- Analyze client business processes and public sector budgeting workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
- Deliver advisory, guidance, and project based work through time and materials engagements.
- Support a wide range of engagements—from Day 2 implementation phase rollouts to full-scale system and business process optimization initiatives.
- Translate client needs into technical requirements and collaborate with development, report writers, and cross functional teammates to design feasible, high impact solutions.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and confident liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring accurate execution of requirements.
- Demonstrate thought leadership by sharing best practices for budgeting, software usage, and organizational transformation.
- Provide technical product demonstrations and craft clear, compelling materials that communicate the recommended path forward.
- Stay informed about industry trends, budgeting practices, and evolving product capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in software development (and/or implementations), consulting, or project management
- Strong consultative presence—excellent listening, facilitation, and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements with clarity and organization
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management foundations
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to build trust quickly with clients and peers
- Appreciation for diversity of talents and perspectives
- An embrace of AI forward thinking
- A thirst for knowledge and creative approach to problem solving
- Nice to have Qualifications: PMP certification or similar credential
- Experience with cloud based software development and deployment.
- Background working in regulated environments.
