About the role
- Serve as Principal Functional Safety Manager for Ethernovia's automotive Ethernet and IC products
- Be a trusted self-starter who can work with very little guidance or oversight
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary and international teams to define and implement functional safety requirements
- Document and communicate safety strategies, requirements, and designs
- Support integration of safety considerations into networking, IC, video, DSP, and IP integration efforts
Requirements
- BS and/or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Automotive Functional Safety Manager
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and in a team
- Experience with Automotive ICs
- Experience with Networking (Ethernet MAC, PHY, Switching, TCP/IP, security, PCIe and other industry standard protocols)
- Experience with video standards, protocols, processing
- Experience with digital signal processing filters
- Experience with IP integration (SerDes, controllers, processors, etc.)
- Excellent communication/documentation skills
- Attention to details
- Collaboration across multidisciplinary and international teams
