About the role
- Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication plans to keep employees engaged with the division’s strategy, progress, and achievements (>7,000 employees globally).
- Partner closely with the Head of the Gypsum Platform and Senior Leaders and collaborate across all functions to ensure consistent messaging.
- Craft compelling content, including newsletters, emails, intranet posts, and presentations, to share the story of our transformation.
- Foster open dialogue and feedback through employee town halls, team meetings, and other interactive forums.
- Manage internal communication channels ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of updates.
- Drive external communication strategies to enhance the division’s reputation and visibility, including managing social media (LinkedIn) engagement and collaborating with marketing teams on targeted campaigns.
- Support the development and implementation of a branding framework for the platform and provide guidance to countries on local branding strategies.
- Showcase the division’s successes and progress through case studies, articles, and impactful presentations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in internal communications in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and functions.
- A resilient mindset with a strategic approach to developing and delivering communication plans.
- Proficiency in social media and digital communication platforms.
- Experience in change management and branding is desirable.
- A proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
