About the role
- Lead and drive the continuous improvement strategy across the entire site, in alignment with group objectives.
- Be present and active on the shop floor, identifying, supporting, and implementing improvement actions in close collaboration with production, maintenance, logistics, and support teams.
- Identify and prioritize improvement areas (safety, quality, cost, lead-time, environment), lead Lean projects (5S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM, etc.), and ensure their successful completion.
- Measure, analyze, and report the evolution of site performance indicators (KPIs).
- Train, raise awareness, and support teams in continuous improvement culture and related tools.
- Ensure teams adopt the relevant methodologies, encourage initiative-taking, and promote problem-solving directly on the shop floor.
- Participate actively as a member of the site executive committee (CODIR), act as a driving force for proposals, and represent operational excellence at management level.
Requirements
- Higher education degree in engineering, industrial production, or equivalent field.
- Significant experience (at least 5 years) in continuous improvement within an industrial environment, ideally in a medium-sized site.
- Mastery of Lean Manufacturing tools and methods, Six Sigma, problem-solving, and industrial project management.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills; ability to unite teams around transformation projects.
- Hands-on approach, pragmatic mindset, and strong analytical and synthesis capacity.
- Good listener, autonomous, proactive, and persuasive.
- Good command of IT tools (ERP, Excel, data visualization tools).
