About the role
- Support the Finance Manager in overseeing accounting operations
- Ensure the accuracy of financial reports and the maintenance of robust internal controls
- Manage monthly and quarterly close activities
- Perform account reconciliations
- Document accounting allocations
- Assist with SOX narratives and controls
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Digital literacy: spreadsheets, word processors, various utilities, basic knowledge of common commercial software packages (e.g., Windows or similar) and basic computer configuration
- Proficient in SAP
- Advanced English
- Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Experience with Brazilian taxes and the preparation of ECD and ECF filings
- Proven experience managing close processes and reconciliations
