About the role

  • Achieving annual territory case and Net Margin for ESSITY Gordon Food Service Team quotas
  • Establishing product mix goals with GFS to further penetrate the division and key market segments
  • Training distributor personnel, and performing administrative functions as assigned
  • Consistently achieving Essity Gordon Food Service divisional case sales goals
  • Developing joint marketing/sales plans for assigned division
  • Targeting, qualifying and developing new end-user business within assigned division
  • Demonstrating knowledge of competitive offerings especially as they relate to Essity products
  • Gathering information about territory market conditions related to competitors, products, pricing, promotions, and quality concerns
  • Communicating significant information to their sales team and Key Account Manager
  • Conducting distributor sales meetings, working trade shows, initiating sales blitz’s and performing sales seminars
  • Maintaining up-to-date CRM for key end-users, target distributors, and sales contacts
  • Submitting monthly highlight report to the assigned Sales Manager
  • Performing special projects as assigned by the Sales Manager
  • Assisting teammates within the district as directed by the Sales Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or Marketing
  • 3-5 years of sales experience; 2-3 years of account management
  • Must have leading technical capabilities to work in a blended selling role
  • Strong CRM experience; technical competencies such as OmniChannels, trends in eCommerce, and digital sales
  • Ability to work virtually with customers and internal teams
  • Experience using MS Office, MS Teams and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Proficient in presenting virtual presentations via online platforms such as Microsoft Teams
  • Experience working with CRM systems (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics) preferred
  • Proven negotiating, persuasion and influencing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships on all levels, team player, and embraces change
  • Financial, Business and Technical acumen, excellent communication skills
  • Ability to travel 30%-50% domestic travel.
