About the role
- Coordinate and track onboarding tasks for new hires, including document collection, background checks, and system setup.
- Send welcome emails, instructions, and orientation materials in advance of start dates.
- Liaise with Recruiting, Credentialing, and IT to ensure timely profile creation (e.g., HRIS, LMS, timekeeping tools).
- Conduct Day 1 onboarding sessions (virtual or in-person) and facilitate I-9 verifications.
- Ensure compliance with onboarding policies, including federal/state verification requirements and internal checklists.
- Update onboarding trackers and maintain accurate employee records in systems like iCIMS or other ATS/HRIS platforms.
- Support quarterly audits, visa verification reviews, and reporting needs.
- Deliver excellent service and communication to new hires and internal teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of HR, onboarding, or talent operations experience (healthcare experience preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with onboarding systems (e.g., iCIMS, ADP, Paycom, NetSuite)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual platforms (Zoom, Teams)
- Able to work independently in a hybrid environment with minimal supervision
