About the role
- Organize and share customer requirements and priorities with the development team to collaborate and prioritize the product's roadmap and release timelines
- Communicate the product roadmap and release timelines to internal and external stakeholders
- Lead and support customer product briefings and gather requirements
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Work closely with development/engineering professionals to meet market requirements
- Represent Esri imagery and remote sensing capabilities as the product expert at conferences and on social media platforms
- Collaborate with Global Business Development, Partners, Distributors, and Industry to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
- Work with Product Marketing to craft messaging that creates demand for ArcGIS products in the imagery and remote sensing sectors
- Ensure internal launch readiness for product updates with sales, technical support, customer service, and training teams
- Establish a feedback loop with Global Business Development, the partner team, international distributors, and product marketing to ensure current Imagery product offerings effectively meet customer needs
- Contribute to all customer-facing resources related to the Imagery products, including website content, marketing sheets, slide presentations, and more, as needed
- Track and analyze key business KPI metrics to measure the health of Imagery product offerings and related services
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a product role (such as product management, engineering, development, or support)
- Understand current methods and emerging technologies in the imagery and remote sensing field
- Experience in gathering and interpreting qualitative product data and consumer feedback
- Ability to identify improved product features and contribute to marketing strategies
- Proficiency in compiling project status, risk management, and marketing reports
- Ability to maintain strong customer relations and provide product support
- Competency in training sales teams on new product features and a product’s core value
- Ability to work well with remote management and staff across various Esri departments
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, organized, creative, and team oriented
- Requirement for travel 10-20% for strategic meetings, events, and/or tradeshows
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field or in business
