About the role
- Own and drive pan-European new business acquisition, from lead generation to contract closing
- Proactively identify and develop high-value client leads and strategic partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international decision-makers and key stakeholders
- Lead and coordinate cross-country opportunities, RFQs, and international tenders
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies together with ESI Management and member agencies
- Act as the senior commercial interface between clients and ESI country teams
- Lead tender strategy, value proposition development, and commercial negotiations
- Oversee the preparation of compelling tender presentations, RFI/RFP responses, and pricing models
- Use Sales Management and CRM systems to manage pipelines, forecasts, and performance tracking
- Identify market trends, growth areas, and emerging client needs across Europe
- Represent ESI in international pitches, client meetings, and industry events
- Support the launch and development of pan-European client projects, ensuring commercial success
- Continuously optimize business development processes and improve conversion rates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Several years of proven experience in Business Development or Sales, ideally within Fieldmarketing, Retail Marketing, or agency environments
- Strong track record of successfully acquiring new clients and closing complex, multi-country deals
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at senior management level
- Fluent English is required; additional European languages are an advantage
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, results-driven approach
- High level of independence, ownership, and commercial acumen
- Willing to travel regularly across Europe
- Charismatic, confident, and collaborative personality with strong stakeholder management skills
