• The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partnership with the Escalon’s People Operations clients, handling both tactical and strategic initiatives with a focus on our payroll clients.; They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.; Grow, learn, see many different companies and industries, and work with a knowledgeable team; looking for enthusiastic team players with a strong client facing HR/people operations background who are excited to share and apply their knowledge with a premier roster of growing clients who lean on our team to provide them PeopleOps guidance and support.; Offer HR subject matter expertise to Escalon’s HR Operations client base.; Assist clients with all of their HR needs while they focus on growing their business. Responsibilities can range from full-cycle HR to project based.; Accountable for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the client’s overall business strategy; develop, and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures that enhances the client’s company growth.; Ensure clients have a strong HR infrastructure and ensure compliance. Provide recommendations and assist in creation of company policies to ensure consistency, compliance and efficiency (creating and writing employee handbooks, travel & entertainment policies…etc.), FSLA classifications and audit, support required employee training.; Ensure clients are due diligence ready by providing best practices when services are started.; Lead and/or partner with our People Support team to implement and administer all major PeopleOps related software systems including but not limited to HRIS, payroll, 401(k), benefits administration and performance evaluation.; Research, recommend, implement and perform benefits administration and management, including enrollments, terminations, claims resolution and invoice auditing. Assist in putting together a strategic benefits package (plan evaluations and selection, open enrollment planning, 401(k), LOA, COBRA, etc.).; Recommend new hire orientation and termination processes and partner with the PeopleOps HR Support team to ensure completion.; Partner with Payroll team and oversee the implementation and/or processing of payroll for multiple clients in a timely manner and assist employees with questions.; Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients regarding payroll-related inquiries, concerns and requests; Partner with clients to draft parental leave policies and customize and deliver each employee LOA packet, support employee questions, and ensure leave is compliant based on local, state, and federal laws.; Recommend, implement, and support clients with feedback process, and support employee relations questions, demands, grievances, or other issues.; Assess needs and provide recommendations to design, customize, and implement performance management selection and processes, ensuring all employees receive timely and actionable feedback for applicable clients.; Assess, recommend, and develop programs designed to enhance employee morale and productivity, and recognize employees for their contributions to the company’s success. Assist with preventing and resolving concerns. Collaborate with managers to resolve issues and assist to prepare corrective action.; Act as a strategic account manager for assigned clients, as well as all Payroll-only clients with a focus of hunting, harvesting and conversation opportunities.; Collaborate with internal Escalon teams across multiple service lines to ensure our clients receive the highest levels of service

Senior Manager, People Operations Practice

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Oversee enterprise accounting and provide financial information to assist client and shareholders in making economic company decisions
• Primary responsibility and ownership for overall engagement level relationship with the client
• Provide insightful and trusted counsel to client business leadership and internal engagement team on financial and broad-based business issues
• Serve as a consulting member of the client leadership team advising on financial implications of major business decisions and shaping business objectives
• Direct the work of accounting and financial planning team in all financial reporting including comprehensive monthly financial statements, forecasts and budgets
• Enable aligned direction and value creation through effective short and long-range budgeting and forecasting
• Inform the client’s treasury function including optimizing cash flow

Contract CFO, Consumer Packaged Goods Practice

What You’ll Do:

The Tax Manager oversees the delivery of a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations to multiple clients. This is a position that is proactive and solution oriented, offering depth of experience to our clients in the fast-paced world of start-up accounting. This position reports to the Head of Escalon’s Tax Practice.

A successful Tax Manager at Escalon has a high level of technical tax proficiency, a positive attitude, and a desire to grow as a professional; is self-motivated and responsible possessing strong communication, interpersonal, analytic, and time management skills; enjoys the creative aspects of our business and is driven to find the best possible outcome for our clients.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities also include:
• Oversee the timely and accurate preparation and filing of corporate and partnership income tax returns, including multi-state and international reporting.
• Support the development and mentorship of junior tax staff.
• Assist with implementing effective income tax planning strategies.
• Collaborate with our internal Controllers and CFOs on various income tax engagements.
• Liaise with internal accounting teams on various income tax questions and requests.
• Assist with income tax estimates, projections, and other special tax projects.
