About the role

  • Conduct the end-to-end recruitment process for all internal and external vacancies within a designated business unit(s)
  • Source and attract high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and direct sourcing
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners, the wider recruitment team and the business to build strong relationships and to deliver a seamless recruitment service
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand resourcing requirements and ensure alignment throughout the recruitment process
  • Compile regular Talent Acquisition status reports for the business
  • Provide input as required to Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives
  • Acquire and apply knowledge of ESB business and its HR processes, policies and procedures
  • Engage in networking activities to develop and build strong business relations in the industry
  • Keep updated with market trends affecting recruitment and current employment legislation and policies

Requirements

  • An appropriate third level qualification in HR or equivalent work experience is essential
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a fast-paced recruitment environment
  • Full life cycle recruitment experience is essential
  • Knowledge of HR Practice, Policies and Procedures and Employment Legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build and develop key relationships with managers and other stakeholders
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills with experience of working to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge and experience of using psychometric testing in recruitment (desirable)
  • Expertise in utilising social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, for recruitment purposes (desirable)
  • Experience in dealing with Work Permit processes and international recruitment (desirable)
  • Membership of CIPD (desirable)
