About the role
- Support the next stage of our documentation evolution, with a focus on coordination, online‐first publishing, and scalable single‐source content practices.
- Oversee the creation and publication of mobile web documentation and optimized print literature for pros, homeowners, and sales.
- Supervise the creation of user, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting content for home comfort, safety, security, and automation products.
- Work with project teams to define their content strategy and scope.
- Balance schedules and project goals within the content team and across global product teams.
- Orchestrate the literature team to create a unified content experience that transforms new customers into superusers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of working experience as a technical writer or content developer in technical documentation, publications, or related field.
- 3+ years of team leadership experience.
- Excellent technical writing and editing skills.
- Proficient project management skills.
- Experience with single-source multi-channel authoring and publishing platforms for creating web, print, and help content.
