About the role
- Independently handle ongoing bank accounting and manage complex accounting cases
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements independently, including accounting under IFRS and UGB
- Collaborate group-wide on ongoing international projects
- Automate and further develop accounting tools using innovative digital technologies
- Liaise with internal departments and our foreign subsidiaries in New York and Hong Kong
- Serve as the point of contact for external auditors
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for accounting, strong numerical affinity and analytical thinking
- Committed, curious and proactive personality who enjoys finding creative solutions
- Several years of relevant experience in accounting
- Hands-on mentality with an independent and responsible approach to work
- Solid MS Office skills, especially Excel; initial experience with SAP (FI module) is an advantage
- Very good command of German and English
