About the role
- Design, develop, and implement Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps to meet business and client needs
- Build and manage Dataverse databases and ensure effective integration within the Power Platform
- Create data models and visualizations in Power BI that provide actionable insights
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business challenges, and deliver effective low-code/no-code solutions
- Collaborate with UX Designers, data analysts, data scientists, and the Power Platform Lead to deliver comprehensive digital solutions
- Develop and maintain workflows and automations using Power Automate, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Build conversational experiences with Power Virtual Agents and create external-facing solutions with Power Pages/Portals
- Test solutions against requirements, ensuring functionality and alignment with acceptance criteria
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and continuously improve existing Power Platform solutions
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback into development cycles and maintain clear communication on delivery progress
- Provide input on project estimates and pipeline planning to support team and organizational growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant Microsoft certification/accreditation
- Minimum of 6-8 years of industry experience
- Practical experience with Power BI Desktop
- Understanding of Power BI Service (report publishing and sharing)
- Basic proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Ability to connect Power BI to data sources such as Excel, SQL Server, and SharePoint
- Skill in creating and customizing visuals, charts, and slicers
- Knowledge of data modeling, including relationships and calculated columns/measures
- Experience building dashboards and interactive reports
- Familiarity with filters, slicers, and drill-through features
- Experience with data transformation using Power Query
- Exposure to scheduled refreshes and Power BI Gateway (preferred)
- Demonstrated participation in real-world Power BI projects (industry domain is flexible)
- Basic awareness of security and sharing features; Row-Level Security knowledge is advantageous
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
