About the role
- Provide legal support for EMEA and APAC operations
- Handle employment issues cost-effectively
- Develop relationships with HR teams for employee matter guidance
- Review and draft employment agreements
- Research changes in employment regulations and inform teams
- Collaborate with outside counsel for updates and advice
- Advise Human Resources on employment policies
- Support M&A work concerning employee integration
- Enforce corporate governance and compliance policies
Requirements
- Registered to practice law in the UK and at least one other country
- 6+ years post qualification legal experience
- Experience in an international law firm
- At least 3 years in an in-house legal team
- Strong understanding of commercial, contract and risk management issues
- Proven experience delivering employment legal advice
- Creative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and another language, legal drafting skill required
- Willingness to travel on an adhoc basis
