About the role

  • Provide legal support for EMEA and APAC operations
  • Handle employment issues cost-effectively
  • Develop relationships with HR teams for employee matter guidance
  • Review and draft employment agreements
  • Research changes in employment regulations and inform teams
  • Collaborate with outside counsel for updates and advice
  • Advise Human Resources on employment policies
  • Support M&A work concerning employee integration
  • Enforce corporate governance and compliance policies

Requirements

  • Registered to practice law in the UK and at least one other country
  • 6+ years post qualification legal experience
  • Experience in an international law firm
  • At least 3 years in an in-house legal team
  • Strong understanding of commercial, contract and risk management issues
  • Proven experience delivering employment legal advice
  • Creative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English and another language, legal drafting skill required
  • Willingness to travel on an adhoc basis
